What are the Small Groups?
By being a TTMIK member, you have exclusive access to our Community page! The TTMIK Admins currently moderate three invitation-only small groups that operate in 1-month long sessions.
Community members are encouraged to make their own posts according to each week's theme and interact with other community member's posts!
Schedule
Application Period: October 23 – 31, 2025
(First applicants will be placed in their preferred small group on October 26.)
Small Group Duration: November 4 – December 31, 2025
About the Groups
Let's learn about Korean Culture and History!
Topics: Modern and Traditional Korean Culture
Format: Alternating between Traditional and Modern, the TTMIK interns will choose a topic and teach group members about it through a post! Each week will have a list of new Korean words to learn related to the topic!
Let's chat with other Korean learners about one of our shared favorite interests, K-pop and the Korean Wave!
This channel has less interference from TTMIK staff, it's meant to be a hangout place to talk with fellow learners about your favorite dramas, Korean food, Korean fashion, and K-pop idols!
Topics: Anything related to Korean popular culture!
Format: Fully user-run!
Let's study in a smaller group! The goal of this channel is to share your self-study milestones with other like-minded community members!
Topics: Anything our community members are currently studying!
(Example: Language learning <doesn't have to be Korean!>)
Format: A mix of user and Admin-run! Posts will be uploaded periodically but users can talk about their interests at any time!
